Location: Tyntynder South Recreation Reserve, which we share with the quarter horse club
Swan Hill RDAV has4 groups of 6 to 7 riders all from local primary schools; however, mainly from the special school. Most of our riders range in age from 6 through to 17/18. Swan Hill has 4 RDA owned horses/ponies and 4 that are borrowed from their very generous owner.
Swan Hill is always busy fundraising and applying for grants, and at this very moment are having a roof put up over the arena so that they may ride in all sorts of weather and eventually fill in the two sides for protection against the wind. This project has been in the works for 10 years and is finally underway thanks to the local council and Victoria Youth Sport and Recreation who provided the shortfall in funding.
