RDAV Barwon Centre conducts riding sessions at Koombahla Park Equestrian Centre, Wallington Rd. We have 2 sessions each Friday morning of 1hour each. We are in the fortunate position of not charging for these sessions as we have ongoing funding from a Geelong organization, Give Where You Live, formerly United Way Geelong Region. We also raise funds by catering at horse events.
We have Geelong Grammar School sponsoring one of our schools, by paying for their registration and ongoing costs, as well as sending 4 students to volunteer as part of their community service. We hope to have another College on board next year to do the same thing.
