Joining the Program

The Centre runs a weekly program offering both carriage driving and horse riding. Carriage drivers are taught to drive and have fun while participating in life skill activities. Horse riders are taught about the horse, how to lead and ride. Activities include games, trail riding, dressage and jumping. All riders learn skills while having fun participating in life skills.

• Lesson Fees: Horse riders $8 per session, Carriage drivers $15 per session

Volunteering 

Volunteers of all abilities and knowledge are welcome to join our friendly team. We only run sessions in term 1 and 2 on a Thursday from 10.00 to 1.30. Volunteers with horse knowledge help prepare horses, while other volunteers set up the arenas and tea/ coffee area or set up the boots and helmets. There is always something to do. Volunteers bring a plate of lunch to share, which we all enjoy after the session finishes.
