Joining RDA Bundoora Park

Joining the Program 

Our Centre at Bundoora Park has two permanent horses (our Standardbred Pepper, and our pony Charlie). As we are limited with the number of horses we are mainly focusing on individual younger riders as we don’t have larger horses and not enough horses for group sessions. We have a program with games and small trail rides for our riders which we focus on balance, speech and riding skills. We also have an undercover arena so we don’t have to cancel when it rains.

Volunteering 

At Bundoora Park RDA we are looking for positive volunteers of all ages. Any horse experience would be great but not necessary. We have a variety of jobs which include: horse care, feeding horses, grazing horses, horse handlers, side walkers and session leaders. Coopers settlement is a beautiful place to work with lots of friendly volunteers to work with.
