Riding

Experience the freedom to take the reins.

Each year, over 1100 riders in Victoria enjoy the freedom, movement, sensory feedback and exhilaration of riding a horse.

RDAV recreational programs offer people with disability opportunities to extend abilities, improve balance, strengthen their core, improve posture, and develop co-ordination.

Riders do more than just ride a horse. They develop a relationship with the horse and with new friends—all while enjoying the natural environment.

  • Riders develop skills.
  • Riders extend abilities.
  • Riders grow in confidence.

“The magic of recreational riding is in the community it creates—for riders and volunteers alike”

Ariella—RDAV Staff Member.
