We are thrilled to announce that the Melbourne Racing Club (MRC) Foundation’s Gala Ball, held on Thursday night, 23 May, at Crown Hotels Palladium in Melbourne, was a great success raising $345,000.
It allowed us to tell our story to more than 640 guests and raise a huge amount of money. This incredible show of generosity and support from the community will significantly help fund those areas that need it most.

We are overwhelmingly grateful to the MRC Foundation, the donors and, of course, our hard-working volunteers who donned their RDAV colours and raised funds and awareness in the room on the evening. This remarkable contribution will make a profound difference in the lives of our riders, providing them with the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.” said Tanya Twaits, RDAV President.
We were so grateful to have been selected as the Melbourne Racing Club Foundation Gala Ball charity recipient this year. MRC staff and RDAV volunteers put a huge amount of work into this event to make it such a successful evening.
