Our equine-assisted programs offer individuals with disabilities the chance to grow in confidence, strength, and well-being. At RDAV, we believe in the importance of inclusion and the joy that comes from working together, making each session a positive step forward for our participants.

Our Story and History
Founded with the vision of creating accessible equine assisted programs, RDAV has grown from a small volunteer group to a network of 32 centres across Victoria. Our journey has been one of passion, dedication, and continuous learning, always guided by the needs of our participants. Over the years, RDAV has developed specialised programs for individuals with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities, and our organisation remains committed to growth and excellence.
Enriching Lives Through Horses
Our programs are designed to meet the unique needs of each participant. Whether it’s riding, groundwork activities, or carriage driving, RDAV’s services provide safe and enjoyable experiences tailored to individuals aged 3 to 65 with diverse abilities.
Our skilled coaches and volunteers work with each participant to achieve their personal goals, whether it’s improving mobility, building self-confidence, or simply enjoying the companionship of a horse.
Our Team and Volunteers
RDAV’s dedicated team and volunteers are the heart of our organisation. Each staff member and volunteer brings compassion, patience, and expertise to their role, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for participants. Our volunteers undergo comprehensive training to assist with programs and interact with participants, playing a vital role in RDAV’s success.
