Volunteers are the life blood of any non-profit organisation. RDA volunteers are no exception; we rely heavily on our volunteers to deliver our services.
Each year over 800 volunteers at RDAV centres across Victoria donate their time to assist 1100 children & adults with disabilities enjoy the therapeutic benefits of horse related activities. There are various tasks and training available for all ages:
- side walkers
- leaders
- horse training & care
- coaching
- office support
- fundraising
- events
Volunteering is a great way to meet people, become involved in your community, have fun and make a difference in someone’s life. RDAV provides training, support and insurance to all their volunteers.
If you are interested in volunteering, have equipment or horses to donate, contact your nearest RDAV centre or contact the State office for further information.
